The Plot Across the Road

Based on the book recommended by Jeanne-Marie Duval, The Forest Unseen: A Year's Watch in Nature by David George Haskell, I have decided to try to photograph and write about a plot of land within the Pinehurst Tributary of Rock Creek National Park every 10-14 days.  Here are the photos I took on my first visit, January 5, 2013.  The temperature was 36 degrees.
